Judy Taylor, an award-winning journalist, former teacher and sportswriter, is founding editor of Denver Woman magazine. She is currently a publishing consultant for the new Colorado View magazine and a speaker on women’s power.

Judy was a pioneer female sportswriter and wrote internationally for hockey publications and was a national correspondent for a local soccer team.

For the past 25 years, Judy has worked in the Colorado women’s publishing arena as a marketing and advertising director as well as a publisher of Front Range Woman Newsletter and Colorado’s Zenith Woman magazine.

Judy, who served as president of the Women’s Regional Publications of America and president of Colorado Press Women, has won numerous local and national awards including the 2001 Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce Athena Award and the Jean Yancey NAWBO Small Business Award in 2003.

Born in Canada and raised in Washington D.C. and Pittsburgh, Pa., Judy has been involved in sports at some level most of her life.
